The only bad thing about tonight is that I had reached the "acceptance" stage of Richie's injury, and had given up on this season. Now there is a part of my brain that thinks AJ can do this by himself.

Great win last night. Psychologically it's a huge boost for the rest of the season. We can still make a nice tournament run.

I think we can (maybe should) win one game, maybe two. That would be a wonderful result given our injuries. But I also feel like A.J. continues to hit new levels as the season progresses. He might hit another gear and lift us to the Sweet 16. If Davis steps into his role and Mboup continues his advance, we might have a snowball's chance of something special.

Tonight's game on ESPN2 follows the Arizona-Baylor game which will almost certainly exceed its two-hour allotment, meaning that the start of BYU's game may be shown on ESPNews. That would require the preemption of the 2025(!) Corgi Races where 100 Corgis compete for the championship. BigPiney is going to be pissed if he misses out on that.

On Saturday as the game was starting I was wondering how Ja Alai feel about ESPN. I can see a few buddies getting together, have a couple of sixpacks, just getting into it... "Holy cow!! did you see that pared chica that Carballo just unleashed????" Then, Wham! you miss 20 minutes of the match because of some stupid basketball game.

It really has to be infuriating.
