    Finally a stress free victory

Nice to see an ass kicking (that was for you ER) on the home floor again. I know Wyoming is not a top tier MWC team but they are a decent squad so I reserve the right to be impressed. Jimmer was amazing today, and at one point I think he was 9/10 from the floor. It was also nice to see Miles with a little offense again. I payed closer attention to his free throw stroke today and I agree with Junkie, it doesn't look bad. I have hopes he will end up on the good side of 50% when his career is over. Oh and BYU played the final 8 minutes of the game with 3 black men on the court all without an official apology for the priesthood ban. Manti and X take note.

On a side note, I caught the final 5 minutes of the Utah vs UNM game. It looked a lot like the BYU Utah game on Tuesday. Utes clamped down in the final minute got a couple stops (UNM stepped out of bounds twice on their final 3 possesions) and that kid MPfunk said isn't a DI player hit a big shot with about 8 seconds left to give Utah a big win. Probably the best week of basketball for the Utes in 3 years right?

UNM was very physical with Luke inside, and he looked like a different player from Tuesday. I'm impressed Borha, Brown, and even Jordan Cyphers (6 points) were able to pick up the slack down the stretch.

Oh, and the sooner Roman Martinez and Chad Toppert graduate, the better. Man oh man they had big baskets today. Their guards are mediocre, though.

Some Quibbles with your post. Cyphers had 8 points. He hit a 3, 3 point play and then was fouled shooting a 3 and he made two free throws.

        Damnit, you're right. That's why I wasn't a math major.

Yeah, that was an encouraging game. Jimmer was great.

Maybe I'm overanalyzing it, but it looks to me like Miles is trying to display great shooting form on his FTs more than he's trying to put the ball in the hoop. Something about Miles's on-court personality still annoys the hell out of me. (also for you, ER)

            Bunch of smartasses.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

The thing that bugs me about Miles on court personality is that he really is not a good player.

I heart Jimmer. What a stud.

Lamont Morgan needs more minutes. I love the idea of Lamont at the 1 and Jimmer at the 2. The problem with that is then you have Emery off the bench and you dont get a whole lot of scoring with your 2nd unit.

Morgan was written off by a lot of lame cougarboarders as a wasted scholarship, but he has turned out to be a solid contributor

Yep, he is definitely holding his own even when he's matched up against the better point guards in the MWC. Morgan didn't look like he had much confidence in his shot early in the season, but that has definitely changed.

What the heck is going on with JT?!?!?!? That son of a witch can't shoot worth a fudge. He darned well better pull his head out of his behind. He's acting like he doesn't give a turd.

                        That was pretty dog-goned unsatsifiying.
                        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah K-dog was knocking Lamont like crazy last year. I wonder what he thinks now.
