Atiki has transferred to New Mexico. Hopefully he gets more minutes there. I feel that he's still pretty raw and didn't improve that much over 3 seasons. Super athletic, but very limited basketball skills.

Yes. And I would say limited basketball IQ. Kept making simple dumb mistakes.

Sounds a lot like our 4, Keba Keita.

Ha. Keba is not a world beater but he is an upgrade over AAA. I'm excited to see who you bring in to replace him!

Frank Vogel fired this afternoon. Wonder what KY next step would've been if the BYU job hadn't come up.

So Marcus Adams ends up at Cal State Northridge. I thought he was supposed to be awesome.

                Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

We've already replaced him with, not one, but two 1 pt/gm scorers!

Is this a bad sign, or maybe a good sign?

I liked Waterman but he tended to disappear against top end opponents during conference play. Maybe the coaches are confident they can bring in better talent? Is Waterman seeing the writing on the wall? Maybe he was told to move on? Just spitballing here.

I had the same reaction. I would expect him to be better next year, but perhaps the new coach might be looking at an upgrade? That might just be wishful thinking.

Word is that staff would like to keep him. He has some sizable offers from other schools. BYU is still in play.
