My kids were loving that. Guy would have died if it was Fous.

BYU stays in the desert over the weekend and beats Arizona St by 10. However, it feels like we should have won by 20+. It's no surprise that Hurley got a T, but it's really sad how the refs basically didn't call a single foul on BYU for the rest of the first half after that. There were some hard body checks going both ways, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth with ASU's thuggish play. Trevor Best was actually fun to watch. But you know who was more fun to watch? Richie Saunders! He be hoopin! Hall is playing some great ball right now too. Awesome 3P shooting (please save some for the other games lol), but man our FT shooting is tough to stomach. It will cost us a close game and I wouldn't be surprised if we lost our first game in the conference tournament because of it.

Player of the Game goes to Richie Saunders, to no one's surprise. He had the best PER and GSc. He is simply on fire right now. Knell had the best TS% and I hope he can keep that up for the next month.

Struggled to Perform goes to Mawot Mag. He hit 2 3Ps, but some steals, blocks, and more rebounds would have been nice. Demin had the worst GSc and TS%. He had doubl-digits assists, but too many missed shots and too many TOs too really.

BYU is now 20-8 (11-6) and #27 in Kenpom and was #28 in NET. ASU is now #59 in Kenpom and was #60 in NET. As an away game, this is a Q1 win. Up next is West Virginia at home. They are 17-11 (8-9) and #50 in Kenpom and #45 in NET. As a home game, this is currently a Q2 game.

Way to grab a win on the road in conference, Cougars. They made 17 of 34 threes as a team - scorching!

Still missing free throws. So irritating. Why do the Cougs suck so bad at free throws?

BYU continues to climb up in the bracket projections. The matrix now has them as the top 9 seed. Keep winning and they will get above the 8/9 game.
