Those last few minutes were insane. What a game.

All of the games in SLC were awesome, unless you had a rooting interest in any of the teams.....then Pepto sales were brisk.

SU, I'm trying to build my vocabulary. If getting "trounced" is the proper characterization of BYU's loss to KSU, how would you describe Utah's losses to BYU this year?

That was a great game. Butler has proven itself as rather resilient down the stretch now against both K-State and Syracuse. Their defense has been terrific here in SLC.

They still have some work to do, but I wouldn't be surprise if this team wins it all. Hopefully, WV will help them out by eliminating Kentucky and Baylor will do the same to Duke.

This has been the theme of the tournament. Kansas wasn't THAT good. Syracuse wasn't THAT good. None of the high seeded teams that lost were THAT good.

Or perhaps the teams that won were better.

Seeing that the Orange is down and out, I am officially Butler's #1 fan on CUF. It is the perfect Cinderella story. Fighting their way to the Sweet 16 and then slaying the giant (Syracuse) and continue the journey back to their hometown...Insianapolis!! It is a great story and I am officially on the Butler Band Wagon...All aboard

What a great game to attend. I thought K-state would be too athletic for Butler. Obviously I was wrong. I think the most impressive thing is that Butler doesn't wilt when the other team starts a run. They just stick with their game plan-good defense, rebound, and a high-percentage shot.

Gordon Hayward for Butler is pretty good -- he's sort of like Jimmer with 7 more inches.

I noticed this as well. I think it has something to do with the fact that they play a lot of good teams before they get to conference play. They are not a typical small conference team in that they've already played the big dogs before getting to the dance.

Just for kicks I looked up their schedule and noticed they played: Minnesota, UCLA, Clemson, Georgetown, Ohio State, and Xavier. That's one heckuva nonconference schedule.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
