  • K-State/Butler

If folks would have told me that K-State would only score 1 point for each minute in the 1st half, I would have thought they were nuts.

Butler is giving a lesson right now on how to defend Pullen.

I think K-State will get it done as well, but Butler is showing that the win over Syracuse is not a fluke. That's a heckuva basketball team.

K-State's bruisers just wear everyone down. We'll see how Butler holds up in the last 5 minutes - though I agree that Butler is a heck of a team.

I think Butler has the edge. They have an amazing defense that start from the starters and follows through to the reserves. That is not something that you usually get from a team.

Just becuase BYU got trounced by Kansas State doesn't mean K-State is THAT good. Over on Utefans they were saying the tournament is K-State's to lose. Sheesh. This is the second game against a non-power team in which K-State is having to fight with every last ounce.

Yeah, K-state just completely fell apart on that last possession. Game over.

Eat your hearts out BYU fans. This could have been you. Stewart Mandel was right, this region was soft, and the regional was in Salt Lake City! You will never again get so good a chance to get the precious gold ring that is the Final Four.
