If Emery's man didn't score, then Emery handled his man.Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostThe announcers kept talking about how Emery couldn't handle his man but Florida wouldn't force the issue. So it was just confusing to you.
If Emery's man scored, then Florida forced the issue.
I don't blame you for citing the wisdom of Marv Albert to support your logical fallacy. After all, Marv Albert wears synthetic fiber and adhesive on his head and was caught biting a woman on the neck in a hotel bedroom.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Don't attack me because you know less about hoops than a man with synthetic hair and a proclivity for biting.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostIf Emery's man didn't score, then Emery handled his man.

Hell yes he does-- did you see what he did to Wynn?Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostHe's got the Crazy Eyes. I have a hunch he likes to hurt small animals."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

The first time I saw Loyd play, he looked like a career benchwarmer to me. He looked lost on the court and couldn't dribble. He's really come a long way. I was shocked earlier in the season when he went off, but he looked so good doing it that it wasn't surprising to see him do so well today.
It really does seem like he's underutilized, but it also seems that the games he has success in are those in which the opposing coach is really keying on Jimmer. If Jimmer is played straight-up, Loyd's role is mostly obviated. Still, I think he is going to steal a lot of minutes at the 1, 2, and 3 next year.
With Jimmer, Loyd, Emery, Abouo, and Collinsworth next year, I don't think we'll miss Haws that much.
Tavernari will probably be missed, but maybe Loyd can fill the role of instant offense off the bench, albeit from a different position. Overall, that group should be quite a bit better than the guard rotation was this year.
The post situation can't get any worse. Miles won't be missed, while Hartsock and Davies can only get better (I hope; I have very little trust in Nashif at this point). I remember the elder Collinsworth being a reasonable contributor as well. If Collinsworth the younger is ready to play right away, it might be best to put Abouo at 4 and play small ball.
So, I reckon we should be better next year if Jimmer comes back. About the same if he doesn't.
