Possibly. Whatever he does in his spare time, I wouldn't want to be the focus of those crazy eyes on the football field.Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostHe's got the Crazy Eyes. I have a hunch he likes to hurt small animals.

If you call MWC defenses small animals then YES!Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostHe's got the Crazy Eyes. I have a hunch he likes to hurt small animals.
I can't believe I actually responded to a Mr. C post"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

What a gift Michael Loyd gave us today! I'm calling him Loyd Christmas for now on.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Funk you're really making the rounds with this honor code thing today. I especially liked you comparing the hatred BYU fans have for Henderson's celebration techniques with the antics that Lloyd demonstrates on the court. (see CB) It's tough not to notice a few similarities to be honest. Both look odd and a bit imbalanced. Short of mooning the camera however, he could do anything he wants today though. He kept this game going and gave Jimmer a chance to seal the deal."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault
"Once I seen the trades go down and the other guys signed elsewhere," he said, "I knew it was my time now." - Derrick Favors

I'm surprised you haven't learned a simply MP Funk lesson. MP Funk is never right about anything ever, not baseball, not the Portland Trail Blazers, not sporting predictions, nothing. If he does happen to get something right its by pure broken clock is right twice a day sort of thing.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostFunk you're really making the rounds with this honor code thing today. Well the broken clock is right today because after that spinning layup and return trip up court I actually thought for a minute that Loyd was going to take flight. At the very least he's our nut and made unbelievable plays in the NCAA tournament as opposed to a 15 pt loss to CSU.Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostI'm surprised you haven't learned a simply MP Funk lesson. I'm confused, are you claiming Funk as a Zoob because I agree? Are you using Michael Loyd to diss me because I mentioned that I liked him right up front?Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostWell the broken clock is right today because after that spinning layup and return trip up court I actually thought for a minute that Loyd was going to take flight. What is going on here.

Returning to the topic, this from Greg Doyel on CBSSports:
He has been Cougars coach Dave Rose's ninth man, which is a laugh riot -- because if there are eight players at BYU who are better than Michael Loyd Jr., the Cougars need to skip the second round of the NCAA tournament and go straight to the NBA's Western Conference semifinals.

Loyd should have been BYU's sixth man all year. He and Jimmer clearly play pretty well together.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostReturning to the topic, this from Greg Doyel on CBSSports:

On defense, emery gives you more than Loyd, although Loyd certainly played well today on both sides of the ball. That is why Emery played so much today despite doing nothing on offense until 1 minute left in the game.Originally posted by Mr. Crimson View PostWhy wouldn't you send Emery to the bench and play them together?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
