In '93 we rented a big screen just for March madness. Turned out that we spent more time playing NBA Jam than we did watching March madness. Sweet sassy molassy I'm old. I also don't recall notifying or thinking to notify my professors of my pending absence."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

big mistake if you skipped the Timeout to play video games.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostIn '93 we rented a big screen just for March madness. Come to think of it, technically there was no 1993 championship game.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Since it has been streamed online for free the past several years, I usually just try to schedule my patients fairly light for Thursday and Friday and watch online as much as possible.
This week I actually had Thursday's schedule open on the off-chance that BYU would get San Jose in the opening round. Once my receptionist learned that they were playing out of state, she promptly filled my schedule through most of the day. I have since fixed that problem (no, I didn't fire her for her indiscretion, but I thought about giving her a dirty look), and I will be watching from home tomorrow morning.
I'm out of luck for Thursday afternoon and all day Friday.
In high school I'm pretty sure I skipped class both days of opening week my senior year.

None of the above.
I have a second PC in my office with TV tuner and a cable tv connection."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

You need a "Wake up in the middle of the $%#^ing night" option.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I need to figure something out. I am going to work tomorrow after all. And we work out in BFE. The firewall was created by someone in East Berlin.
I may drive into town and see if I can't find some free internet somewhere. I am weak...

There is a urology group in Eugene that every year starting in February runs ads about their March Madness vasectomy specials on the local sports radio. You get a sports magazine, bag of peas, and most important an excuse to stay home on Thursday or Friday from work.Originally posted by beefytee View PostWasn't it HFNW that mentioned that there are more than usual vasectomies performed late in the week during the tournament?
I was tempted this year.Get confident, stupid
