And we can't get a rebound and haven't gotten out on any of their shooters. And Jimmer looks totally lost, just like he did for most of the game against UNLV. He can't handle pressure.

the bad refereeing just exacerbates poor play all around. Jimmer looks like he has lead in his shoes, the rest of them can't buy a basket or hold on to the ball, and then kstate goes off hitting threes. It sucks when you're already playing bad and a few calls don't go your way.

Yep. Their FG% defense in the last 5 or so games has been atrocious. If you can't get stops you don't make comebacks.

I've hardly seen Tavernari play until the last two games. Kid is not much of an athlete at all. I mean, hardly anyone on this team is, but he looks very laterally and vertically challenged.

That's why it's about stops - if they miss they are getting boards. BYU's best FG% defensive game recently was Florida - but that didn't translate to stops.

He is. I cringe when he dribbles or tries to play defense. He's valuable as a shooter when he picks his shots and limits himself to just doing that along with getting a few steals and boards, but he rarely manages to play within those limits. I won't be sad to see him go.
