    BYU vs UNLV

How is this game a pick'em.

I thought for sure UNLV would be favored by 3-5 points.

It would be a great game to go to, but I just don't want to be around some UNLV fans. The only fans worse are the Arizona fans.

Maybe the "BYU vs UNM" game is a pick'em because it theoretically doesn't exist yet.

kenpom.com has BYU winning the game with a 57% probability.

I should take the $40 I won on CSU last night and put it on UNLV. That will insure a Cougar win. It is the least I could do.

It would be sweet revenge to punk UNLV tonight.

At that line, I would put big money down on UNLV were I in Vegas today. I haven't seen anything from BYU to make me believe they'll beat Vegas at the Thomas & Mack.

What's the most recent update on Haws? Without him, I'd take UNLV at 55-60% probability. If he plays, I'd lean towards UNLV at 50-55%.

if haws is out, abouo has got to step up in a big way. not a four fouls in less than ten minutes type of way.

Abouo's best attribute is his rebounding ability. That's something BYU will need to do better tonight. Abouo's 4 fouls last night was definitely the exception and not the rule.

interesting that byu/unlv is getting the 8:30 start even though it is the lower-seeded bracket.

Tonight's games are going to be really fun to watch.

Is ArtVandelay the only cuffer at the games? what is the vibe like? on tv looks like the games are half empty, at best. but the games have been really good so far.

I've read somewhere that they put the higher seed first to give them more time between games.

I am pissed about that 8:30pm start. That means 11:30pm start for me. By far my biggest gripe about the east coast are start times for basketball and baseball. However, football start times are perfect. I have actually started taking naps at about 8-9pm to be able to make it until 1-2 am to catch west coast games.

two words, box out. I haven't seen BYU do that consistently yet and if they don't start doing it then the season will be over next thursday.

BYU is 3rd nationally in defensive rebounding percentage and is 26th nationally in rebounding margin.
