Interesting. I wonder what exactly that means. He does seem to get his fair share of steals, though his stats this year are down compared to last year. Jimmer's not a guy you want to be in foul trouble. But he definitely can be a liability on D, and that stat might be a signal for lazy defense. Don't know.

I've made it a habit this year to download the post game shows and the Monday night Coach's shows. They've always been a highlight of my day, even after a loss. I love Coach Rose and his style and philosophy usually couldn't match better with what I want to hear from a coach. I didn't enjoy yesterday's version though.

1. His explanation of Jimmer's sickness was very, very, very strange. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but there is definitely A LOT more to the story there that we'll probably never know.
2. After UNLV game and at various times of the season, the interviewer tries to blow smoke up Coach Rose's ass and Dave is always quick to reject it, saying the team needs to get better, they're not satisfied, they're going to work hard in practice, whatever. This time, Coach Rose took the Bronco way of defending the program and pointing out why we're good and UNM just happened to be better and sometimes that's how it goes. I didn't hear the fire, I heard defeat.

Jimmer is an awesome player, but you Y fans should be less worried about his overall game after seeing Loyd do so well against a great UNM team.
