That's the other side of things. I'm not sure there has ever been more animosity between the groups of fans for the opposing coaches at the same time as now. The only other time coaches have been hated this much was Crowton/Meyer, but that was only BYU fans. Unfortunately neither current football coach has the personality to allow such "niceties" to enter in which is a shame. Bronco is religiously robotic and not prone to normal fits of laughter (notice I said "normal" as his laughing spells are often very uncomfortable and weird) while Kyle is the consumate "man's man" trying to leave emotion at the door. Maybe a couple's retreat would help?
