I am not kidding when I say that my eyes are still hurting from watching that game. They started hurting after halftime and are still hurting.

I have great vision as well. No glasses no contacts and I don't ever remember my eyes hurting like this after watching something.

actually, didn't he have several blocks tonight? he was very active.

I don't follow the Utes, so my very uninformed scouting scorecard would look like this:

        Stud: Watkins
        Dud: Drca, Tavita

Henderson, despite his wayward fists of fury, hit a really clutch 3 (from distance, btw) when Utah was making that run. If he can learn to channel his inner chi, buy a few Oxy pads, and also lose the shoegazer haircut, he will have a nice career for the Utes.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I thought maybe it was just a crappy justin.tv feed. The MTN sucks. It's times like this where I am kind of glad I don't pay for that crap. Kind of.

Oh brother. That makes zero sense.

Tell you what. How about if we get together and you let me give you a shot like that when you aren't expecting it? Let's see how tough you are.

                  • I predicted 78-65. So close!

Seriously, it's Jimmer's world and we're just living in it. I was happy with how tough we played him, and he destroyed us. Insane player.

Our offense is not good enough to play like we did on defense in the first half. Transition points and no help defense killed.

The BYU fans around jdart and I were great. It's what I love about the rivalry.

                    • All in all, a nice game for BYU. To be expected at the Marriott Center I suppose. I was impressed with the fortitude the Utes showed, and I think Boylen is a good coach who'll develop a formidable program in the near future.

Watkins played great. BYU doesn't have anyone that can do what he does.
Foster is a project, but has nice potential.
Drca is a the basketball equivalent of Weekend At Bernie's.
Carlon Brown seemed to not live up to the moment tonight.
Henderson marred a nice game for a frosh by throwing that sissy karate chop, but I remember a young Chris Miles extending his foot into someone's groin as a freshman.

Anyways, I thought BYU was the better team (Jimmer was great in the 2nd half) but the Utes have nothing to be ashamed of.

Boylen sat Drca down for two games last year when he tripped an Oklahoma player...so I bet Henderson gets at least two for what he did (which I did not see). But I trust you BYU fans when you say that he beat him within an inch of his life.

funny you say this. I texted junkie and told him that the feed tonight was esp horrible. My mom is visiting us this weekend and she comes into my room during the game to get something. She looks at the TV and asks if this was one of those new 3D sports broadcasts (my mom is in her late 60s). The picture was blurry. In fact, it was so lousy, I could barely read the score box in the bottom right corner. And forget about knowing how much time was left on the clock. It all looked like a big blur.

Also, not sure about you locals, but here in OC we had a few patchy moments of total blackout on the screen. Also, at another point in the game, the screen didn't black out, but all they were showing was a large Deseret Duel graphic while you could hear the game in the background.

The MTN needs some serious work.

Brown's inconsistency is what is keeping him from being a top player in this league. Team's don't have to gameplan around him because he doesn't do what he did at Wyoming night in and night out...and even so, he's gotta have support, and it's just not there every game.
