  • Campaign to keep Tyler Haws from going on a mission

How about this website?: tyler-you-leave-we-leave.com for people who threaten to leave the Mormon Church if Haws goes on a mission. A Haws-Emery-Fredette backcourt together for another season, wow!

What about Davies -- is he Mormon and leaving on a mission?

That would be great, we should also start one for Heaps.

      Heaps registered the domain himself.

Davies is mormon but said he is playing at least one more year before going on a mission. Kyle Collinsworth will fill in for Haws next year.

I wonder if SU left because Britton Johnson went on a mission.

              Where do I sign up?

I think we actually could be a top 10 team next year with Haws. We'd be better at every position. I expect Davies improvement from frosh to soph to be a huge jump. Everyone else back with the two Collinsworth's for added depth.

I don't think losing Haws hurts us much. I like him but I think he is marginally better than Abuou. Older Collinsworth will replace JT as the back up at the 4. Davies will become the starter at the 5. Abuou or Collinsworth the Younger at the 3 (Collinsworth the Younger wants to play point but I think he would rather play than watch).

Haws is a special player. By next year, he'll be at all-MWC levels if he stays.

Where did you hear K Collins wants to play point? That's odd. He doesn't play point for Provo High. I think he's a very similar player to Haws. He doesn't have the lateral quickness or the ball handling to play the 1 at the D1 level and the way Rose likes to play he might not have the quickness to play the 2.

I'm probably going to ratchet this up a bit by threatening to expose the LDS church with my knowledge if he leaves.

Collinsworth has reportedly wanted to play point. While I don't think he going to play point next year, he may play it when he gets home from his mission.

Interesting. I'm guessing I'll have Elder Haws over for dinner a time or two. I'll be living about half a mile from that mission home. When I was there before I would take the QC missionaries in the area out to lunch a couple of times a month.
