Good interior offense about those things you mentioned, establishing great position close to the hoop, crashing the offensive glass, running the floor, moving without the ball, once you've established position, muscling your opponent even closer to the hoop...in essence, good interior offense is about getting as many shots within 3 feet/lay-ups/dunks as possible. It is not about getting jumpshots over outstretched hands.
Both Miles and Davies are getting great inside looks. They just need to learn how to finish. In fact, watching the game last night I was generally impressed with the looks the team was getting. We shot a lousy percentage, but we were getting great looks. Saw very few low percentage shots taken.

Yep we should have been over 100 points with the looks we were getting last night. But that's OK because all we're talking about here is exhibitions.

Soft ... like a guard ... I may be repeating myself.

Well put I've gotta use that in the future.

I skimmed the conversation, so perhaps I missed it. But noticably absent from this conversation is Hartstock. If he is able to add score in double figures every game, then maybe scoring from Miles isn't as much an issue.

Is his injury worse than previously thought?

Hartsock is not in bad shape from his injury. Personally, I think he will be the key player to put us over the hump in the MWC tournament and NCAA tournament this year. Everyone is lovin' up on Fredette (including me) but Hartsock has the ability to change a weakness for us. We were talking about Miles and Davies because that was the CB discussion.

I'm excited about Hartsock. I think he has just as much potential as Fredette. He scored a whole lot of points in high school.

Ah, well you there go. I dont' read that board anymore. Hopefully he can contribute this year. I don't see Miles needing to score a lot if that's the case.

Anyone know how he's looked in practice?

I'm not seeing the potential. He has some skill but he's got white man's disease. He looks like he's wearing 20 lb weights around his ankles.
