In front of the largest on-campus crowd EVER in the NCAA (34,641), Syracuse dismantled Villanova. The bigs of Syracuse were way too much for Wildcats and the 2-3 zone is one of the best that Boeheim has put together. Andy Rautins is fundamentally perfect. This team is scary good. Wes Johnson is starting to get healthy and it is showing in the team chemistry. I can't imagine what this team would be like if Johnny Flynn had stayed one more year.

With Kansas and Kentucky losing today, SU made a huge case for number one in the nation. If Perdue lays an egg or if they barely make it past MSU, I fully expect SU to be #1. Tonight's win also insures at least a share of the Big East title and a #1 seed for the BE Tourney. More importantingly, a number one seed in the NCAA tourney.

Ultimately, while Turner is the better all-around player, Johnson's NBA potential may be better simply because he is an elite athlete and has better range.

The Orange were definitely clicking this week.
I would love to see either of those guys on the Jazz, though I think Johnson would be a better fit (Turner's outside stroke doesn't look great, and he appears a little Brandon Roy-ish in that he needs to handle to be most effective).

I just really hope this pick ends up in the top 5 because after Wall-Turner-Johnson-Cousins-Favors group, the next 5 look a little less certain.

That seals their fate. #1 to end the season, #1 seed in the tourney, First #1 seed to lose in the tourney.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Syracuse starting the year off right...this team returns Kris Joseph, Brandon Triche, and overrated Scoop Jardine and a more fit and athletic Fab Melo. I expect the Orange to have a quality team this year.

If Joe-pa was fired, Boeheim should be as well.

I listened to that recorded phone call and it was disgusting. The fact that Fines wife admits to an affair with the kid and then makes a comment about how she can't blame Bernie Fine for wanting a blow job from him makes me sick. So not only was Fine sexually abusing him but so was his wife.

Boeheim was sure this guy was innocent and put all of his eggs in Bernies basket. Now that it is looking more and more likely that he is not, Boeheim needs to go as well.
