Goat, for the record, let's get your assessment, Boylen vs. Rose, down. Rose is a very good coach and Boylen is a bad coach. For future reference. Did I get that right?

Nope. If you go back you will read that I believe Boylen will get Utah back as a premiere team in the MWC. I don't believe he will get Utah past the first round of the NCAA's very often, however. I think Utah under Boylen will be somewhat between BYU under Cleveland and Utah under Majerus post Andre Miller.

As for Rose I think when the dust settles he will get BYU into the second round about 25% of the times he gets BYU into the tourney. I forsee BYU going to the dance 2/3 years. In the end I see them having very similar success but Utah should be better than BYU.

Well, I said GU was better this year than either of the last two, depsite what the polls and pundits said. So far, I'm being proven right; as usual my predictions are astute. It's not rocket science. Chris Wright and Greg Monroe are far better natural basketball talents and athletes than Jonathan Wallace and Roy Hibbert, who Thompson recriuted in his initial year of struggles.

But when I said all this no one wanted to engage me, so what's the point? On the other hand, everyone is eager to fawn all over 3D about USC. What better evidence of a privileged class here that gets special treatment? That would be fine--just life--except it gives lie to Cuf being a "fresh start." Just ask tooblue.

It was a surprising win. JT3 seems to just be stockpiling talent, and he already has a final 4 under his belt.
