  • Pretty bad stuff in there for Trump, but for Clinton and Prince Andrew too. Musk is those files too.

    • Was it possible to be a leader in any field (politics, law, medicine, media, you name it) and not be implicated in an Epstein email???

Yes, I'd encourage you not to lazily dismiss the stuff, without being more informed. There's a lot.

Here is an article about one item.

            You're completely misreading my post.

I must be. I'm generally mystified by how silently this stuff is being received.

              • So it doesn't look like there's any kind of smoking gun that will lead to additional prosecutions. Maybe I'm missing something as it's only been a few days and there are millions of files. So far it seems like the following is directionally true:
                - A handful of prominent people will have their reputations damaged through eager association with Epstein, though no evidence of illegal behavior
                - The apparent corruption/lasciviousness is somewhat bipartisan, but partisans mostly seem mad about their opponents
                - Whatever happened on his island was evil, but probably not as evil as portrayed
                - It's difficult to assign credibility to some of the victim claims. Like I think we need a bit more substantive evidence to believe GHWB raped a young boy then chopped his feet off with a sword in a ritual sacrifice

Epstein reminds me of Littlefinger from GoT, albeit with less personal discipline. A scheming, latter-climbing, master networker, elite manipulator. Everyone with whom he interacted knew he who he was and some would still engage. I'm open to believing he provided information to intelligence services, but I doubt he was loyal to any particular service.

                Is that a fair take?

I'm not about to go through a million+ files, but seems fair. Per Trump, it was clear there was no smoking gun, so folks getting excited about that possibility was over blown.

I'm struck with how bizarre some of the stories are. How does law enforcement keep a straight face when taking this in.
                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

There are millions of files. Break the case!

Why was Trump so opposed to these being put out there?

Why was Biden so opposed to not releasing them when he had the authority?

Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal, which wasn't finally resolved until October 2025, might have had something to do with that. Just a hunch.

That goes to another point of my statement. No President has the authority to release the files of any criminal case. It is stuck in the courts and the DOJ who can make those decisions. People tend to forget Trump requested all files to be released but a Judge ruled that they could not all be unsealed. And the DOJ ultimately makes those decisions. But the blame sure does land on him as if he has something to hide..

Trump was pressuring repub congresspeople to not vote to release. That was at the core of his spat with MTG. They had to pass a law specifically directing the DOJ to release them. Trump was against the lase until he was for the law. And he could have release much of it before the law was passed.

The case wasn't all the way closed due to appeals and such under Biden. Not only did they have to pass a law, there were still massive redactions and they refused to release them in accordance with what the law indicated.

There's plenty to be concerned about with Trump especially when you stack it up against stuff we already know. Why has Ghislaine Maxwell been sent to country club prison contrary to what the rules and regulations allowed for?

Trump and Epstein go way back and Esptein called himself Trump's best friend.
