Funny how Trump's defenders continue to dismiss all this stuff. I'm sure some, perhaps even a lot, of it is inaccurate or fabricated. But I'm very confident at least some of it is true. And yet this doesn't affect my view of Trump, just as i suspect it won't change anyone else's. If you didn't already believe Trump is an amoral sleazebag, ain't nothin' gonna move that needle.
BTW, while Trump is mentioned over 1,500 times in the files, per AI Romney isn't mentioned at all. Whew!Comment

In all seriousness, I was very surprised to see how often Trump's name was mentioned in this release, and in such universally negative way. I recognize that there have been no charges against Trump resulting from these tips to the FBI. But Trump doesn't care about that -- he cares about negative publicity, not so much whether it is true or false. There are a LOT of references to Trump. I am surprised that he allowed these files to be released without further redactions. That suggests to me that enough people know the contents of the files that to deny their existence would only result in an embarrassing leak down the road.
There are also a LOT of references to Bill Clinton (that ol' perv, no big surprise there) and Bill Gates (sounds like he might also be an ol' perv!). I know that association with Epstein does not equal pedophilia or other crimes or creepiness (well, maybe not creepiness). But there are SO MANY money managers and hedge fund guys in the U.S. alone -- why would Bill Gates (not to mention the Clintons and Trumps of the worlds) have any connection with Epstein? It can't be that this non-college grad is the most brilliant money manager in the world.
I wonder if he had any other discernable skills or assets to offer all of these incredibly wealthy men.
