Mybreal questions why are the rest of the GOP sitting on the sidelines about this? We all know he lost in 2020. Can some congress person with a spine stand up and go against him?
In news that really matters, the seizure of voting records in Georgia seems like it could be a big deal. The daily podcast talked about it today and I agree with them on most points. This is clearly Trump using his power to try to shed more distrust in the voting system, but I still find it odd he’s so fixated on Georgia. Even if he’d have won Georgia, he’d have still lost the election by a lot. But he probably knows if he can prove (falsely) that Georgia was “stolen” then he might be able to sow discord in other places.

Don't know where to put this, but the US Embassy in Denmark removed flags honoring fallen Danish soldiers who died fighting alongside us in Afghanistan. This admin is trash.
His profile describes himself as a "True Republican." You just called him a Dem for taking very reasonable stances that aren't in line with MAGA GOP. Then you accused all Dems (including the one you just labeled a Dem for having conservative stances) of only having far left ideologies.
You mis-read my point. He is a Dem in comparison to the uber-right GOP that follow Trump. If the GOP came back in alignment, he would likely be a GOP. But the party on a National level with Trump running is not the same GOP I grew up with nor my parents. But the current Dem ideology is extremely far left. There is no moderate for either party. I would say I fall in line with the past Dem and not the current Dem. But that is in specific areas. Social Programs, I am a Dem to a certain extent. Fiscal responsibility, Capitalism etc. GOP. Why I would not vote on a national level for any Dem (Nor GOP if I do not like their platform). They are run on extremism and I cannot trust they fall in line with my opinion. An example. I am not voting for the GOP in the next Governor of Ohio race. I will be voting for Amy Acton.
I read up on this guy and while he is Dem in name, I would not say he is what many would consider to be a National-Dem. He is a Texas Dem. More moderate and shares values that most GOP would vote for. He is a union-based Dem focused on Worker protections and made it very clear he will speak on identity politics not the lightning-rod topics that he most likely does not agree with that Dems do. I am not sure this is relatable in a State Senate Race.
I do believe GOP is going to lose this election cycle but that is more based on the fact that the sitting President and his party usually lose the following November election cycle. I also think Trump is an ass and he is doing significant damage so the loss is going to be much worse. Specifically in the house..
