  • apply for green card legally, go to appointment, which is a cover to get arrested

Nixon Moran told his daughter that two ICE agents arrested Alvarado immediately after their spousal interview, handcuffing her and moving her into a transport van. The agents waited until Nixon had been asked to step out before detaining Alvarado, Carina Moran said Thursday. “The officer had told them, ‘Everything’s looking good, you guys have all the information we needed,’” Carina Moran said. “Maybe within the minute that he stepped out, ICE officers came through the back part of the field office.” A USCIS staff member allegedly told Carina and Nixon that they had no idea ICE was near the interview room and did not expect Alvarado to be detained at any point while on the premises. However, Carina Moran says her family saw several red flags. When Alvarado received her USCIS interview date directly in the mail, the family’s immigration lawyer was surprised, telling Carina and her father that attorneys are usually notified first about any progress in a green card application.

I do agree that its a political act, though. It is designed to show Americans the true cost of the tariffs and who is paying them (us), in an effort to pressure Trump to call off his disastrous tariffs. Might be hostile, I don't know, but who cares? Trump is hostile everyone.

Caroline Leavitt, btw, is a disgrace, and I say that with full Trump intonation.
I guess Trump called Bezos and Amazon backed away. Why is the White House afraid of people seeing the costs of tariffs?
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Or this guy, one final interview away from becoming a citizen after ten years. He goes to what he thought was that interview only to find out it was a ruse for ICE to arrest him, as it turns out for no reason other than not liking what he has said about Palestinian human rights.

The crack down on free speech rights under the cover of "foreign relations" (as if the presence of a person with an opinion has any impact on that) is one of the scariest things about this Trump presidency.

Or remember when folks got worked up because dems contacted social media platforms about running with the Hunter Biden crap? Trump calls Bezos directly today and poof, gone. Where are those folks today?

Here is an uncontested fact that the right hasn't cared about. Benny Johnson was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by the Russians. He has an established history of plagiarism.

He was one of 4 or 5 people who were uncovered by DOJ to be getting paid by Moscow. If the right intregrity, he along with Dave Rubin and Tim Pool would've gotten pushback from conservatives. Instead their status is elevated and their access increased. Tim Pool is part of White House media regulars now.

I almost dropped by jaw when gutless Ben Shapiro finally called out Tucker Carlson for his Moscow Rose act. Canadian intelligence mention both Carlson and Jordan Peterson as being on the take from Russia.

If you listen to these stooges, you aren't getting news, you are getting propaganda.

                      • Well, Pam Bondi saved one in three Americans in the first 100 days. Look around you today. Three out of every nine folks would have been dead if not for Pam Bondi.

Yeah, not a surprise but certainly not good. Trump is blaming Biden, which is crazy talk. Usually a president doesn't exert this much influence over the economy but Trump is killing that narrative because this negative growth is 100% on him and his economic agenda (i.e. tariffs)
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

                            • So the Transportation Secretary is saying that people will lose their lives without an all new air traffic control system. So, what does that mean? Are we not safe flying right now? He said people will lose their lives without a new system. Should we shut it down until the new system is installed. Or are we just going to take our chances?
