Funny how when things don't go his way in certain places, those places suddenly become desolate crime scenes where people lie 'murdered all over the sidewalks.' This isn't bad for New York at all. In fact, didn't his buddy Giuliani kind of start the trend of sweeping up organized crime and putting mob bosses behind bars (before he started participating in organized crime, that is)?

Also-- help me out here-- I haven't been glued to the proceedings, but.... isn't there a gag order in place on this one? Doesn't that mean you can't talk shit on the judge or the prosecutor on social media? I'm sure someone reading this knows and is pulling their hair out....

Well, yes. I mean, all his moves so far have been to cast the system as rigged against him by the Democrats. If he is ultimately thrown in jail, he'll raise millions of dollars overnight and foment anger and rebellion that will make Jan. 6 look like a pizza party.

I guess that's the goal. Not like he gives 2 shits about the stability of the country. I think he is pushing the limits of free speech right now, as his every move is to make sure his followers have a completely different version of reality. He isn't arrested for his crimes, he is arrested as an innocent man because election interference of the highest order. And he's just allowed to say that shit even after he's very publicly demonstrated that he wants unrest in the streets to help him wriggle out of the checks he himself wrote and signed.

That’s right. I’m guessing the court thought this would be a softball to Trump. A hint of what may come. While demonstrating that the judge is narrowly tailoring the ruling to protect Trumps free speech.

It's hilarious that Trump keeps complaining about not having a jury, when the reason he doesn't have a jury is because his incompetent lawyer, Alina Habba, screwed up a didn't check the box to request a jury trial. He got a bench trial because that's what he requested.

It is funny, but its also upsetting and depressing because his base won't understand what happened, they'll just see it as yet another affront by a blue state run by the Dems. He's consistently attacking the judges and prosecutors in all of the cases in NY and DC, and even in democratic Atlanta. But he never says a bad word about the judge in the documents case in Florida, where the judge is one that he appointed.
