I saw an anti-Kap thread the other day that said, "if he doesn't like it here in America, he can go back to Africa." The person who wrote it was LDS from Arizona. At first glance, the rock-solid unanimity among Democrats looks like good news for the party, which has been badly divided. Put simply, he wants to choose his opponent for 2020. He doesn’t want the face of the Democrats to be Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg. He wants it to be a composite of AOC, Omar, Tlaib and Pressley. That’s partly because he reckons the squad’s politics are out of step with the US mainstream – that he can easily cast them as radical socialists with terrifying views. But mainly it’s about race (with a dash of misogyny for good measure).

There are equally staunch and committed racist followers of other presidential candidates (except, maybe, Williamson). Notice I didn't say majority. Plus, it seems pretty clear that a lot of those candidates also have a lot of followers who have their heads up their asses about it (including, almost certainly, Williamson).
