No, my complaint here is with Fox. Everything they said about Obama was correct to criticize, although in some things like his golfing I don't think it was that big of a deal. The problem is that Trump does every single one of those same things, in most cases way more egregiously, and Fox has no problem with it. That's dishonest spin from an organization that purports to be fair and balanced. Or have they stopped saying that? And yes, I don't watch them.

Of course it isn't. The AG has been exposed as a personal spin machine for Trump. The head of the DOJ has no respect for the independence of his department or role, which is troubling.

I would be surprised if any reasonable person, on either side of the aisle, thought that the report might conclude that Trump is a good and honorable person of great integrity. He is exactly what he has always seemed to anyone that pays any attention to him: A small time grifter who started with a nice stake from daddy but who is always working the edges for his benefit, bragging to excess about minor or non-existent victories and is a narcissist's narcissist.

But despite the fervent and fevered wishes of the democrats, the investigation was never about whether Trump is a selfish lout. We all know that. The investigation, to Mueller's credit, focused on whether proveable crimes were committed. And apparently there were none, even if that is only true in some instances because the adults in the room saved Trump from himself.

Here's a clue: no reasonable person is claiming it. But a hell of a lot of people are, from Trump on down some of the republican ranks.
