To continue to freak out about every little fucking thing that Trump says or does just continues to dilute the efficacy of people being able to REALLY draw attention to the things that he tries to do that pose the biggest problems. This is the tactic: Trump fatigue so that he can slip one past the goalie from time to time. Like, who cares about the shit he says about the reflecting pool? Or him bragging about his kill count? Maintain your focus for when he tries to slip some passport/birth certificate bullshit de facto poll-tax into the "Save America Act." Majority of Americans favor voter I.D., but this ain't it, champ!

Again, as someone who watched/listened to a lot of his speeches during the 2024 campaign and decided NOT to vote for him, this is basically EXACTLY what he was campaigned on. I do not detect any significant cognitive sliding comparing this riff with the ones on the campaign trail. He likes to freestyle about the exact same stuff all the time. I mean, the bingo cards people made up for his speeches from 2 years ago are still relevant today. He still never forgets to mention Biden in almost every speech. I am telling you, this is not new.

In fact, except for the obfuscation of the content and release of the Epstein files and the War with Iran, I think that we are getting EXACTLY what America voted for at this point. Now we can argue that the Menu for President contained only options for a Turdburger or a shit sandwich, but this is what won out between those two.

I move around a bit but that's probably how I most often think of myself. I also almost never talk about politics, either on-board or off.

I also strongly dislike both political parties, which hardly makes me unique, but adds to my reluctance to post, as I have no one I care to defend.

This isn't a nest of hardcore Berkley or DSA people. I think that reflects the board's right and center right bias.

A lot of the never Trump conservatives devote more time complaining about liberals than they do criticizing the perpetual scandal machine that is Trump.
