    One of my biggest fears with Trump was the possibility of him wrecking NATO. Threatening military action against a stalwart ally wasn't a cute meme, it was terrible move.

    All but making an enemy out of Canada was embarrassing.

      January 6 officers are suing to stop Trump's corrupt slush fund.

      Two police officers who defended the Capitol against a pro-Trump mob on Jan. 6, 2021, sued the Trump administration on Wednesday to try to block the creation of a nearly $1.8 billion fund that they say will be used to reward the rioters and right-wing militia groups who tried to stop Congress from certifying the election results that day.

      The lawsuit, filed by former Officer Harry Dunn of the U.S. Capitol Police and Officer Daniel Hodges of Washington’s Metropolitan Police, alleges that the Trump administration has created a “slush fund to finance the insurrectionists and paramilitary groups that commit violence in his name.” It names as defendants President Trump as well as acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

        LOL! I will be super happy to move on from Trump, but I gotta admit, the entertainment value will go WAAAAYYY down. Nobody will be able to do exactly what Trump does, but the next few administrations are likely to at least take some of his tactics and leverage them. Kind of like how Trump is absolutely gonna pull a Biden on his way out and preemptively pardon his whole family for everything they may or may not have done since June 14, 1946.

          Let's be real, Trump isn't someone who needs an example from Biden to be sketchy.

          He has already abused the hell out of the pardon.

                  Okay, you are right, Trump could have come up with pardoning his family for wide swaths, if not the entireties of their lives for any and/or every crime they may or may not have committed. That does sound like a very Trumpian idea. Kudos to Biden for thinking of it.

                  More importantly, though: can any future President keep us as entertained as Trump???? This is the real question. The media is NOT going to be happy if the next president is boring AF.

                    Per Google, Trump has played dozens of rounds since the war began. He has demonstrated throughout his life that golf is more important than marriage.

                            That is an original! How long before someone decides to test the sturdiness of that 'get out of jail free card?'

                            If there ever was a better way to paint a target on oneself and one's posterity than this, I would be interested to see it. I have been thinking about how Trump's kids might have to cash a lot of checks that their dad has been writing by being as involved as they are. If I were a Trump kid, I would stay as far out of his orbit as possible, but that may still not be far enough.
