Also, this isn't about reasoning with the right on immigration. Its about representing what constituents actually want

I think it's really difficult to find compromise with current Trump admin and Stephen Miller etc.

Immigration used to be issue that was dealt with in a bipartisan manner.

I'm not sure which power players on the right on open to compromise but they are worth searching for

Martial Law. How's that? There isn't a thing called Marshall Law actually, if you want to get tripped up by someone's inadvertent mistake in the usage. Nice sidestep to avoid tackling the real issue though. It's an uncomfortable thought for Americans that we are witnessing an attempt at taking down our Constitutional system and freedoms, which is understandable. But that doesn't mean it's not happening

There is a lot of daylight between an unenforced border and Trump's deportation without due process.
