Weird, who would have thought that imposing an extraordinary amount of taxes on Americans and backing the govt takeover of the healthcare system would be unpopular?

Guess she doesn’t have a plan for tanking popularity

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I know the narrative on Fox these days is that she's running away with it (similar to how they said Harris was the frontrunner the day after she declared, which the numbers never backed up). Fox has an obvious interest in pushing the worst case far lefty to make their boy look better.

But the current polls seem to show that her drop in the numbers coincides in the last several weeks with really ramping up talking in detail about giving away more and more free stuff. Surprise, but it's not working, even with the democrat base. Earlier, before she was giving as much detail and talking in more general terms, she was doing better.

From the start Trump has apparently been most fearful of Biden and Sanders in that order, which explains his feverish effort to dig up dirt on Biden. Warren is the most beatable candidate he could face.

What worries me, is McConnell’s refusal to take steps to safeguard elections despite our security agencies giving warning after warning that it is already going on. Trump will cheat if he can to win. I hope Biden is the guy.

                Tulsi qualifies for November.

Gabbard will join nine other candidates on the November stage: Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Klobuchar, Sanders, Tom Steyer, Warren and Andrew Yang.

My favorite local crazy conservative AM radio talk show was pushing their latest conspiratorial theory last night.

I'm not sure how it works, but somehow they love Trump, but hate a lot of the other GOP elected officials for not being conservative enough.

Anyway - their latest is that if Trump were to get impeached, he could just run for election again as an independent - with Tulsi Gabbard as his VP.

How do other nations function when the majority of their citizens pick their leaders? Everyone is so frightened about that possibility.

Does that even happen? I don't know.

Also, our country is much larger and much more diverse (in population, geography, industry, etc.) that most of the rest of the world. There is a reason why our system makes sense for us, but might make less sense for a country like France.

votes are getting suppressed under the electoral college.
