To be sure, policies under Trump have also played a role. But I know the Biden admin and Dems don't have a plan/don't see the cause and effect at play since solutions contradict their policy goals. I wish I had more faith in the GOP being the answer though.
The only thing the GOP cares about is attacking the lgbt and immigrants and other culture wars. They didn't try anything actually good economically under Trump.

The best thing Trump did for the economy was to not screw it up. Before Covid, the economy was in great shape. Everyone was predicting a recession, which never came even well after the inverted yield curve…well the recession came because of Covid but no sane person blames that on Trump.

So all that new money he printed isn't partially to blame? He had plans to continue sending the same checks Biden did. I remember him promising to send the same amount during that Georgia special election that Biden ended up sending.

He wasn't printing money like Biden until the pandemic hit and the PPP program and other stimulus were all bipartisan in a way we hadn't seen in a long time. They were deemed necessary at the time so any equivalence being made between PPP and the Biden stimulus is futile. Trump was trying to buy votes just like Biden but that was well after the pandemic and the global financial recession that came with it.

          • The corporate tax cuts to bring US tax rates down to the range of most countries in the world and encourage companies to relocate back to the US was a very good thing. Prior to that the rates were among the highest in the world.

Yep, it helped fix the repatriation problem. The fact the democrats haven’t been able to increase the rate even after controlling congress and the presidency speaks to its popularity.

I don't believe it. Good thing the IRS is hiring all these new agents to shake all these liars down and find where they are hiding their income.
