Fascinating debate between Mark Cuban (who has always been a progressive) and Ro Khanna over the proposed California wealth tax. Cuban argues that billionaires who start successful ventures that employ and bless a lot of people typically don't have liquidity and a wealth tax would kill them. And businesses will simply leave California. Khanna says, "no problem, the government can just confiscate and sell their shares." Cuban's response:

It’s an amazing thread and demonstrates the ignorance of the democrats that push the wealth tax. This isn’t even the only economic issue with that tax, but it should be one that ends all discussion of it."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
