It's a boon for those who love pocket constitutions! With DeMint at the helm the Heritage Foundations can flood the nation with the documents of our foundation.

I'm excited to see Haley's appointment and how she plays it. She hasn't turned out to be as popular a governor as many expected and now she'll get the affection of every aspiring GOP'er in the state.

It will be harder to start a recession at Heritage.

        Judd Gregg on DeMint:

"People who want to govern do not subscribe to the views that Jim promoted in the Senate" -- Judd Gregg on DeMint just now. #CNBC

Yes it is. Now if we can get Mike Lee to do the same.

Jennifer Rubin bids him good riddance, which means that LAU will as well.

I think his honest question about using drones on US soil is a valid one and the fact this WH has refused to respond is alarming to me. But I also like the fact he is out there doing this on his own for what he stands for. I respect him for that..

I think the use of drones is important to discuss. Is this President overstepping his authority? I have mixed feelings but also see the work it has done to fight terrorists as a valid one..

They did respond he just didn't like the response. I don't particularly care over what or why he's doing it, I just think it's kind of a fun process to see play out. It's so rare that it actually happens.

You can take your drone comments to the Official Unmanned Air Systems Thread.

I am sitting here listening as well. I find it interesting. I wonder how a person prepares for this. The amount of talking points etc he may have to keep going etc. Although I think he is stating things over and over again...

I get so frustrated at the far righties. If they had voted in the same proportion in '12 as '08 we would have a capitalist right now for a President.

Cris Christie is probably the most popular republican certainly in NJ, but up there nationally. Of course the stinkin purists in the party are going to teach him a lesson.

I can see how a religion or even a religious University has to be beholding to the strictest principles. They don't have to worry about the future of anything but their church.

BUT, for hell sakes it's different when it comes to the country. YOu are not going to persuade everyone to your point of veiw even if you think God himself wants you to have your point of view. Especially when a lot of God's children are starting to enjoy being given things and quoting what Christ said about the rich.

Would I rather have Romney over the current President? Why, yes. Even if I was a hardliner I would rather get 70% of what I like rather than 20%. Of course you can tell people you stuck to your principles. My response to them, whoopeee weesleshit.

Cruz just read the William Barret Travis letter from the Alamo. Not quite reading names out of the phonebook territory, but a move in that direction.
