In a way I guess I did predict a Donald win. I bought puts yesterday. Last night when the futures were down 900 I was thinking of buying the Jet I always wanted. Now I am debating whether to sell them and buy a toy jet or wait. What is your best guess on how far we go down?

I hope you dumped those puts... looks like it is headed north now."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I told my wife last night, I would probably be willing to pay a $500 pay per view bill to see the live cam of the reaction of Hillary and her inner circle as Trump won Florida and the returns from Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin were coming in.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I am like Trump, lucky but not real smart. I unloaded 2/3 of them and made a decent return. I think I will dump the remaining 1/3. What I mean by being lucky is I bought them when the market was up 120 yesterday and left to play golf. I had in a GTC to sell if they hit a higher price but they never got there yesterday.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostLOL.

Clinton was supposed to speak at 9:30. The. It got pushed to 10:30. Looks like we'll be waiting a while still. She certainly doesn't have enough stamina for this job. Sad!

PAC, you are too smart to pay attention to commercials on CNN. Being as smart as you are though, I hope you didn't find a way to unload your 401K overnight.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostFidelity commercial on CNN says "Let's talk about your 401(k) today." Yeah, better today than tomorrow, since with a Trump win my 401(k) is going into the crapper. Hopefully this will correct itself in the weeks ahead, but that assumes facts not in evidence.

mrs. myboynoah was saying that the reason she didn't do this speech last night was because she was so upset. Huh? Totally unqualified.Originally posted by Moliere View PostClinton was supposed to speak at 9:30. The. It got pushed to 10:30. Looks like we'll be waiting a while still. Now she's postponing this thing. Good crud.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Where is BlueK. I know how bad he disliked Trump and hope he can still smile. I appreciated BlueK speaking of his disgust for Trump, but stopped referring to Trump voters as racists. I hope he is just busy and that is why he hasn't posted.
If he has, chalk it up to yet another sign of senility overcoming me.

The 2016 Presidential Election Trainwreck
HuffPo is hilarious this morning. Who says that Christians are the only people with eschatological views?

A few random thoughts:
* After seeing how decisive Trump's victory was, and the reason that most stated they voted for him "to change the culture of Washington", I'm not as confident that Romney would have beaten Hilary as I was before the election. Obviously a hypothetical, but I don't know that Mitt would have inspired the working class to vote, the way Trump did
* I spent time watching most every channel last night. Anderson Cooper is by far the best lead commentator. He is smart, articulate, and even-handed. Chris Mathews and Rachel Maddow looked like they couldn't get to a bar fast enough. Fox News is almost unwatchable, the only guy I liked was the data geek guy who kept refusing to call states, even as Megyn Kelly pleaded with him to.
* Baron Trump is going to be fantastic to watch the next 4 years. I might get a snapchat account just to see how much teenager hatred he spews towards his father, in the future.
* Corey Lewandowski is insufferable. He is smug, condescending and snarky. Basically, he is the conservative embodiment of what Gawker was.
* I don't agree with Van Jones on many things, but I thought he owned the night for talking heads.
