Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

In general or someone specifically? I've got a dollar on Mark E. Peterson.

The LDS Church tipped the vote in Wisconsin, don't you know?

It also tipped the vote in Pennsylvania.

Either she's a poor loser or she didn't even prepare a losing speech...probably both.

              • This thread was a bit of a microcosm of the election. Most people here were fixated on Hillary, even supposedly neutral people. Trump scandals didn't get much play.

                • The only silver lining in this is watching the left go absolutely apoplectic.

It won't be long until you hear the common refrain that the only reason Hillary lost is because she is a woman.

Trump scandals got tons and tons and tons of play. Whenever I watched CNN or MSNBC, which was a lot, they were constantly going on about Trump this and Trump that. In then end, his issues didn't matter nearly as much as her issues.

“The media is always taking Trump literally. It never takes him seriously, but it always takes him literally,” Thiel said. Journalists wanted to know exactly how he would deport that many undocumented immigrants, or exactly how Trump would rid the world of the Islamic State. We wanted details.

But a lot of voters think the opposite way: They take Trump seriously but not literally.

They realize, Thiel said, that Trump doesn’t really plan to build a wall. “What they hear is, ‘We’re going to have a saner, more sensible immigration policy.’ ”

If you wrote lists of Hillary's and Trump's scandals but removed there names and had someone compare them, it would not be close. Trump was absolutely far worse than Clinton.

Trump breaking the Cuban embargo got little play as did Trump's companies having a long history of defying court orders and destroying evidence, deleting emails etc. That stuff got no attention in this sub.

When Comey's first letter dropped there was a lot of chatter here but those same people hardly acknowledged his second letter.

WTF? It was nonstop Trump scandals from day one of the general election. Republicans tried desperately to get the media to focus on Hillary and her emails and Benghazi, which they only succeeded in the emails when the FBI finally decided to look into it.

You yourself sure were a lot of more vocal about Clinton's faults than Trump.
