What the freak are we coming to if conservatives like yourself have suddenly decided it's evil to study the constitution. Good grief.

obama is a fake. That doesn't mean we should throw the constitution into the toilet like Trump wants to.
Trump is scary. Right now at present, Hillary to me is scarier. The freakier thing is wild accusations. How do you get to it's evil to study the Constituion. Study the heck out of it and still the studiers will come to differing conclusions. Right as of now I plan on voting for the person who will put Judges on the Supreme Court who will be closer to my thinking.

Doesn't matter to this guy. He will even have more things to bitch and write about when Hillary puts her people on the court.

By the way, I'm not a Cruz fan. I think his anti-immigration stance is flat out wrong and a bad idea and I think his extreme social conservatism is downright icky. But he made some excellent points against Trump's complete lack of respect for the constitution.
Smart people use their time wisely and determine for themselves what is a wise use. I would rather post than read his thoughts. Sorry.

uh, then read the freaking article. There is an excellent section there about Trump and what he's likely to do with the court that should interest you and -- gasp, even cause you to question why you should probably expect Trump to disappoint you in that area. You want to accept this belief completely on blind faith. Maybe you should listen to some logical arguments why republicans who care about the Court maybe shouldn't have such unquestioning faith in that idea.

OK, I will. If I do and don't agree with the guy, I sure as hell won't let you know. You will then try and coerce me into reading a bunch of other articles or tell me I am dumb, stupid or uneducated.

                I liked this passage:

On Meet the Press, Drumpf was asked whether he would rely on executive action in the manner of President Obama. “I won’t refuse it. I’m going to do a lot of things,” Drumpf replied. “I mean, [President Obama] led the way, to be honest with you,” he added. But rest assured, Drumpf noted, “I’m going to use [executive actions] much better and they’re going to serve a much better purpose than he’s done.” The Constitution does not vest the unitary executive with this authority for good reason. Drumpf’s constitutionalism would, like his hair, comb over any limitations.

I don't think you would disagree with what he says.

I think you're just frustrated with making a choice between such horrible alternatives, which is totally understandable, and anything anti-Trump at this point serves to remind you of that. Just keep in mind that no individual vote among millions is going to decide the election. Why not just find an alternative candidate this time who better fits your ideals? I've done it before, and trust me, you will feel more at peace with your vote.

I know once you said you don't want to vote third party because you have something against "protest" votes, or whatever. I would ask you if Trump isn't in fact the ultimate protest vote of at least the last 50 years? I mean, the only reason he got to where he is today is because of the large number of voters who are wanting to give the middle finger to the country and don't give a crap what he says. They just want to feel like they're sticking it to the system. There is no way to vote for Trump and not have it be counted a "protest" vote. History is going to record it that way. Unless you're really on board with the crap he says, which I don't think you really are, don't include yourself in that count.

Only if Trump's choices really are better. How do we know Trump won't run roughshod over the Constitution and appoint unqualified judges who are only there to be yes men to his unconstitutional grabs of power? Isn't that consistent with how he's run his businesses? The truth is Trump hasn't done much to give us a reason to trust him on anything. I don't trust him. I don't trust Hillary. I'm voting Libertarian because I want to support limited government and respect for the Constitution. My vote won't decide it but I'll feel better about my choice regardless of what the rest of the country does.

Vox is a general interest news site for the 21st century. Its mission: to help everyone understand our complicated world, so that we can all help shape it. In text, video and audio, our reporters explain politics, policy, world affairs, technology, culture, science, the climate crisis, money, health and everything else that matters. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of income or status, can access accurate information that empowers them.

"Donald Trump is not a man who should be president. This is not an ideological judgment. This is not something I would say about Mitt Romney or Marco Rubio. This is not a disagreement over Donald Trump’s tax plan or his climate policies. This is about Trump’s character, his temperament, his impulsiveness, his basic decency."

The sad thing is Trump is probably going to be able to get millions of people who agree with most of this article to vote for him anyway. All that proves is how broken the two-party system is.

The live feed on YouTube right now has a bunch of 60 y/o white people dancing to a cover of "Rock the Kasbah." It's pretty funny.

Have a child sing about peace on Earth right before Trump speaks about his favorite thing is to drive his enemies before him and to hear the lamentations of their women, right before Nancy Grace comes out to say "They said you would come from the North, a man of great strength."
