      BYU71, I think you've said before you thought Joe was pro-Trump. I think this shows he never has been. He has just been savvy enough to not piss off Trump enough to make him refuse to be on his air, but he's not a Trump guy. That said, I think he's now passed the point of Trump not being mad at him.
      Trump is a shitbag --straight up. He blasted the Governer of N.M. --not because of any of her policies (or the focus of his critique-- her state welcoming Asyrian Refugees) but because of her reticence to endorse him. So he turns the hose on her and an extremely vulnerable population. He's a bully used to being able to push people around to get his way. I will vote for Hilary proudly before I vote for him. And I've never voted Democratic in any presidential election. Shoot- I'll knock doors for Hilary before he'll ever get my vote.

        When former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer interrupted the discussion to inform Trump that his own campaign had asked surrogates to stop talking about the lawsuit in an e-mail on Sunday, Trump repeatedly demanded to know who sent the memo, and immediately overruled his staff.
        "Take that order and throw it the hell out," Trump said.
        Was it someone on here yesterday postulating that Trump has been ignoring is legal staff's implorings to stop talking about this stuff?

          I agree with you. Hillary is better, and that is pretty terrible to have to say.

            Pretty obvious there is no better Trump that'll magically emerge in the generals. It is also obvious the entire Trump campaign is a disorganized mess. Somehow I don't think a Trump administration would be much better.

              It is amazing how Trump can keep the train wreck fresh with each new gaffe (I'm sure there is a better word because this went well beyond gaffe 12 months ago). Consummate show man.

              Told the memo was sent by Erica Freeman, a staffer who circulates information to surrogates, Trump said he didn't know her. He openly questioned how the campaign could defend itself if supporters weren't allowed to talk.

              "Are there any other stupid letters that were sent to you folks?" Trump said. "That's one of the reasons I want to have this call, because you guys are getting sometimes
              stupid information from people that aren't so smart."

              Brewer, who was on the call with prominent Republicans like Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, interjected again. "You all better get on the page," she told him.

                Trump's best scientists have proven that the new gaffes are the best way to make people forget old gaffes. It's always bigger and better with that guy!

                  I lived in New York when the GOP convention was taking place back in 2004. I remember thinking that if the public really had any idea of how profane and vile the protesters were, Bush would have won easily. I have no idea who these people are, where they live and why they don't seem to ever be seen except at these types of events.

                  Trump is bringing these people out in droves and they're dialing it to 11. It's exactly what he wants, it's painting his opposition as worse than Trump himself. This is not a good development for our country.
                  Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                    Giving up our freedoms and handing over absolute power to a strongman dictator with bad hair is our country's only hope against those bad people who protest!

                    Unfortunately, that's exactly how some of Trump's people believe. It also makes me worry for the future of our country.

                            Just watched Gary Johnson get interviewed by the Special Report panel. Even with the major parties scraping the bottom of the barrel I can't take that guy seriously. I wanted to.

                              He lost me with his "I don't know" answer about whether the US should have entered WW II. If you can't take an emphatic stand on one of the most defining and well-documented moments in world history, you don't belong anywhere near the Oval Office.
