  • Donald Trump mixes up '9/11' with '7/11'

Donald Trump, who has made his advocacy for New York City after the 9/11 attacks central to his candidacy, accidentally referred to it on Monday as 7/11 -- the ubiquitous convenience store.

"I wrote this out, and it's very close to my heart," he said at the outset of his remarks on Buffalo on Monday evening. "Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I've ever seen in action."

The businessman did not correct himself.

    • I hope my vote this morning is the one that awards Kasich the single second place delegate in Charlie Rangel's congressional district.

      • I just learned from Karl Rove that I am one of 16,307 registered Republicans in my congressional district.

I think so. He had no real path to the nomination before and his path is about as good as Kasich's after tonight. Apparently he left his press corps in Pennsylvania and took a trip to Vermont tonight to "recharge". Sounds like he's getting ready to fall in line after next week.

Yep... for Bernie supporters it is time for plan B.

                  • Any of you surprised at the Donald's success in New York, I suggest you watch Do the Right Thing. There are plenty of racists there in that midnight blue state--more than their fair share, actually. Fortunately for Hillary and the country, they're not a majority in a general election.

So you think Hillary and the dems will play the racist card heavily. I am surprised a man of your intellect will be one of those who is duped.

Donald is an idiot, don't you think that is bad enough.

I think his values are a bigger problem than his IQ. He seems pretty intelligent to me.

                        • Obviously a ton of Irish GoP voters in New York and not enough German, Scandinavian and English to counter them. Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, etc. That's the New York Irish GOP voter type.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                          • Bernie is such an economic illiterate.

He has no concept how the real world works, yet millions of Americans think he should be leader of the free world.

Doesn't this racially stereotype New York Irish?
