Weld gets it. One of the two main candidates is fuckton worse than the other and it's not Hillary.

This is the truth. I'm getting whiplash from this. A week ago all the Trumpians were praising the FBI and now they are saying they don't trust Comey at all and he's a political pawn. I'm still trying to figure out how any Republican can think that Comey did this all to support Clinton. If anything, he damaged her more.

But this isn’t close, and never was.
If anything, you should be even more excited to vote on Tuesday, to experience the immense satisfaction of flushing Trump down the toilet for good. More important, you could also potentially help to deal Republicans the down-ballot losses they so richly deserve for supporting this tasteless, dictatorial shitbag.

        • My fervent wish is that HRC wins fairly easily, with >300 electoral votes. I also hope she doesn't see a substantial win as a mandate for her, but rather as an major rejection of Trump (which is what it will be, although I doubt she'll see it that way).

One of the great benefits of a major Hillary win would be a huge hit to the Trump brand. All, or nearly all, of his resort and lodging properties, as well as his top-end golf courses, are inaccessible to his base; but he has spent the past year alienating, bigly!, the small cohort who can actually afford to partake of his brand. Who among the elite will avail themselves of a Trump-property and proudly admit it? Trump's kids have to be very, very concerned (I added the second "very" because Trump never uses only one) about the value of what their Pops has left them with.

Of course, narcissistic Trump will never concede this his election loss (as with any any personal failure) was his fault. He is incapable of self-criticism.

            Never let that idealism die!

                • Sure glad the FBI cleared HRC. The market is up nice. I guess all the poor and down trodden people who are going to benefit from a HRC win are secure now and throwing their money in the market.

So do you discount the idea that Trump tends to represent uncertainty and unpredictability?

Trump's is a major asshole. I have been saying this probably before the rest of you Trump haters climbed on board. Maybe the difference is I have the same amount of digust, distrust and I don't like the word "hate", but in the sense I hate Trump and his cohorts I feel the same loathing for Hillary.

HRC is certainty. The elite political class, especially the "ends justify the means" dems, especially the ultra wealthy and especially the media will thrive under HRC as they have under Pres. Obama. While the country grows at a stagnant and woeful 2% and tons of people leave the workforce.

The middle class and small business class will continue to bear the brunt of the high and mighties guilt trip and soothing it by pandering to the "downtrodden".

HRC would have won no matter who she ran against.

Bottom line HRC winning is good for me personally. Good for attorneys personally. I only hope it is by a tiny margin so the republicans can hold the Senate and House and she and her pals can not run amuk.

                          • HRC winning is good for me. I'm a middle-aged white male with a middle class income. She won't hurt my bottom line and might even help it. She's no Obama and certainly no Bernie, when it comes to wanting to help the poor.

Are you sure about your middle class status? I bet she thinks you're wealthy and need to pay more.

I am more than happy to have someone indicate why I am wrong. My feeling is taxes, or some other cost is going up on those with incomes of $40,000 or more.

Otherwise how is she going to pay for all the stuff she has promised. She said she will tax the rich. Those who have studied her plan, what is her definition of rich?

Does anyone care to bet (small amount say $50) she never really pushes through changing the carried interest tax rate?
