I love the argument that snopes is run by a bunch of lefties and can't be trusted. Never mind the indisputable facts used for debunking in the article in question.

the good thing about Clinton is that she will be a constant source of controversy, scandal, and grounds for independent counsel. I look forward to her impeachment proceedings. It would be a good exercise the constitutional mechanics to have a trial on it, if the GOP can discover enough of the juicy details. The cleansing of Watergate was useful in that it brought a healthy skepticism toward government. With Bernites trolling for free stuff from government at not cost, it would benefit for more skepticism toward government and its services. Let's a full out Hillarygate, where she is denuded of any real power, even if she survives the trial in the Senate.

I am now in the boat, painful as it is, of hoping that Hillary Clinton wins (I honestly can't believe I typed that). I am not one who thinks Trump is Hitler or anything close and I think Hillary and the Donald are really two different sides of the same coin. However, I fear that if Trump wins, someone like Elizabeth Warren would have a real shot at winning in 4 years because of course the Donald really will be that bad in the oval office. As bad as I think both these schmucks are, I would prefer either one over an Elizabeth Warren type and maybe when Hillary is that bad and corruption continues to follow her, we can get a true fiscal conservative to straighten shit out, ala Carter leading to Reagan.

I could never hope for Hillary to win, but given the legacy of corruption, we may be able to attack, battle and bludgeon her until she is impeached or resigns. That would be the best of worlds, to be forever rid of the Clintons, as they whimper off into history with their fortunes unfortunately still in tact.

Voters don't want fiscal conservatives. Why? Because it means government isn't handing out goodies to special interest groups, paying high wages with generous retirement benefits to public employees, and managing a deficit. Conservatives are only called in to fix a problem after it has become one clusterf*ck. Only after a period of malaise and burgeoning deficits will the public want a change, for a short period only. Clinton is likely to be that malaise.

. I shouldn't bother with Topper. He gets apoplectic at the mention of the name Hillary and ignores all of Trump's skeletons, including the story that broke about him having a long history of illegally hiding or destroying documents and evidence. He offers passing criticism of Trump and goes back to stewing about Hillary.
