I caught bits and pieces of CNN last night and this morning. Both times they were beating up Trump on his "lieing" about saying we shouldn't have gone into Iraq. I agree, his adamant position he was against the war from the beginning is total bull crap.
I thought and said, it was total bull crap when he first started doing this during the primary. It was a passing note in their commentary during the primary. Why now are they making it a huge deal? If they had been this vigilant during the primary, maybe it might have changed things.
I guess better late than never.

Trigger Warning for HFN: Hitler reference below. Read at your own risk.

So it appears that Trump used to keep a book of Hitler's speeches by his bed and read them at night, according to his Ex:

When confronted, Trump admitted it was true but said it was OK because he got the book from a jew. The person who gave him the book is actually not a jew, but why let the truth get in the way of a lame excuse?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Throughout this election cycle, CNN has been pretty even handed in their coverage. I think they're just now starting to play their cards because the race is tightening, and the election is getting closer.Originally posted by byu71 View PostI caught bits and pieces of CNN last night and this morning. I have thought about this and yes I think Trump despite his claims would be worse than Obama doing executive orders.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostJeff, I posted about this eons ago. Trump admires fascists and would attempt to govern like one.
I probably know what you think and the others, but in my own mind I wonder if it would be harder for him to govern like a facist or harder for Hillary to govern like a big time socialist.
Like I have said over and over, if I could be assured a republican congress I could see myself voting for Hillary. The thought of her and the dems in charge of congress scares me to death. However, should that happen I would still stand during the national anthem.

The media has been going after Trump from the beginning. It's just that most people probably didn't care that much early on. If you don't think he's been complaining about his media coverage since before the first primary then you weren't listening to him. I've been posting and talking about this stuff about Trump for a really long time. And yes, I got it from the media. It's in that crazy damning article in the New Yorker written by the ghost author of the Art of the Deal that can't stand Trump because he is a narcissistic OCD twat.Originally posted by BlueK View PostYeah, this info was out there at the beginning of the primaries."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! no, good for you for bringing it up. Some should be reminded. My point about saying that info was revealed through the media a long time ago was in response to 71's portrayal of the media loving Trump earlier and hating him now, which is simply provably false. It's just that fewer were paying attention earlier. There was tons and tons of coverage of the latest crazy crap that spewed out of Trump's foul mouth or through his twitter account. Every time they talked about how this latest thing MUST be what finally derails him. But nope. He kept going, maybe to some degree because what sounded crazy to most Americans sounded really good to many of the folks who like him. There is a reason Trump talks so badly about the media, and it isn't because they were praising him during the primaries and suddenly switched gears for the general. He's always complained about his coverage.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostI apologize for posting that link.
