Sean Hannity loves the shit out of that word, for example, and he knows less than a baby about immigration law. Remember Obama's "Executive Amnesty?" Or when Reagan granted "AMNESTY?" Neither thing happened in real life. There was a kind of specific immigration relief for certain people, but nothing that could be considered amnesty. If anything could be termed "Amnesty," it would be the Cuban Refugee Act or to a lesser degree Temporary Protected Status (TPS) granted to immigrants from certain countries after national tragedies i.e. the earthquake in Haiti, the civil war in El Salvador, etc.
I couldn't agree more. "amnesty" is just a code word loved by the "slam the doors to America the hell shut for the rest of eternity" folks that they use to try to make immigration of any kind seem like a horrible thing.

          • So Trump has revealed his ground-breaking pivot on immigration: Just do the exact same thing Obama has been doing for 8 years, and also reform is off the table because the problem isn't the law, it's just that we haven't been enforcing it right.

Also, he has never heard of immigrants in removal proceedings being detained. What a f4king numb nuts. Not one guy on your staff can use google or, you know, ask somebody regarding the one single most prominent feature of your platform?

            • Trump's interview with Fox host Bill O'Reilly comes during a period where his campaign has hinted at a shift in immigration policy, only to deny that any changes are taking place. Trump had been expected to roll out a new proposal later this week in Colorado, though that event has since been canceled.

Instead, Trump will tape a town hall event — also on Fox News — Tuesday night in Texas. The forum, moderated by Sean Hannity, is expected to focus on immigration.

Oh dear Lord... I'm not a drinking man, but if anyone out there wants to get shit-faced, just get this tape and a 24 pack of Michelob and take a sip every time somebody says 'amnesty.'

Thanks for the heads up to avoid Fox Noise tonight. I'd rather be hung upside down and forced to watch 10 hours straight of synchronized swimming than something about immigration with Trump and Hannity.

At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.
Clinton met with representatives of at least 16 foreign governments that donated as much as $170 million to the Clinton charity, but they were not included in AP's calculations because such meetings would presumably have been part of her diplomatic duties.

Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

                  • Pick your poison: slide towards Latin American style corruption with Hillary or go with the guy who's potentially a fascist who shouldn't be anywhere near the nuclear football.

How about we all agree to elect Hillary with the mandate that she be impeached and removed from office for her actions as SOS to enrich herself by granting government favors, thereby making Tim Kaine president.

Didn't watch it, but I assure you everything that came out of Trump's mouth was bullshit. I highly doubt he picked up a book or listened to an advisor between the last time he pushed some white nationalist talking point and now.
