I am not a Bernie Sanders supporter. I would not vote for him for President, and I suppose we should be glad he isn't the nominee, because that would've given the election to Trump.

    • I was thinking about it and I'm pretty sure I'd vote for either candidate who could guarantee a BYU invite to the Big 12.

        • Hmmm.....

          https://alibertarianfuture.com/2016-...rtaking-trump/

An internal poll conducted for Rep. Mia Love two weeks ago found Trump at 29 percent, Clinton at 27 percent and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson at 26 percent.
Despite being one of the darkest red states in the country, Utah is also one of the most anti-Trump. During the Republican primaries, it handed Ted Cruz one of his largest victories. The Texas Senator won every county and 69% of the vote – his second highest percentage after Wyoming. Trump only managed 14% – his second lowest showing after Wyoming. It was one of the largest margins between the candidates throughout the entire primary season.

The anti-Trump sentiment hasn’t died down since Utah’s March caucus. The state is still adamantly opposed to Donald Trump and looking for a way out this November. Unlike other segments of the Republican base, Mormons didn’t fall for his feigned Republicanism. Furthermore, they’ve been looking for another option for some time now. A poll taken earlier this summer found a generic third party candidate getting more 35% of the vote. Although, when there’s no name that percentage is noticeably higher.

27-Year-Old DNC Staffer Seth Rich Shot, Killed in Northwest DC

A 27-year-old man who worked for the Democratic National Committee was shot and killed as he walked home early Sunday in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Northwest Washington, D.C., police and his family said.
Seth Conrad Rich died after he was shot multiple times on the 2100 block of Flagler Place NW, three blocks east of Howard University Hospital, police said.
"Worst nightmare," Rich's mother, Mary Rich, said by phone.
Mary Rich said police told her family her son may have been the victim of an attempted robbery.
He was talking on the phone with his girlfriend when she heard noise on Rich's end of the line, Mary Rich said. Her son told his girlfriend not to worry about it.
"There had been a struggle. His hands were bruised, his knees are bruised, his face is bruised, and yet he had two shots to his back, and yet they never took anything," she said.
"They took his life for literally no reason. They didn't finish robbing him, they just took his life," Mary Rich continued. "They hurt the community, and they hurt the long-term possibility of what he could have done."

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

My FB feed is up in arms over this. I thought it was a pretty funny line.

Therein lies the crux of the problem. He makes for good entertainment but anyone looking for a serious candidate or well-reasoned policy from him is only going to go crazy in the process.

Yes. What a total shitbag. I'm becoming more and more convinced he can win, maybe even big. She's playing chess while he's playing paintball.
