After reading the transcript of his NYT interview and listening to his presumably most polished acceptance speech I think I feel the same way about Trump as McNaughton feels about Obama. Trump sounded like an angry idiot in both settings.Comment

On my 75-minute drive home frome the office this evening, I listened only sporadically to Trump's address (even XM's Velvet station seemed somehow more appealing), but one line in particular stood out: "Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it." If one had to make a case for his astonishing arrogance and narcissism, I'd begin right there. The Dems are going to have a lot of fun with this talk next week.Comment
