Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I was punching "seek" on my radio during the drive home the other day and ran across a dude name Mills Crenshaw. For a minute I thought I was listening to Coast to Coast - though it was a little early in the evening.
But I picked up some important news that I know you'll all be interested in.
A woman called in and let Mills know that she got an email telling her that the Rothchilds and Rockefellers will decide who the next president is. They don't like either Trump or Hillary, so they'll be picking someone else to step forward. Probably in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned!
Now, she could say where the email came from. Don't interpret this as meaning that it's confidential or anything. She really just has no idea where it came from. I mean, it just showed up, right? But this is some very interesting and important information.

That Donald Trump is an asshole is a fact widely agreed upon—even by his supporters, who actually like that about him. But his startling political rise makes the question of just what sort of asshole he is, and how his assholedom may help to explain his success, one not just of philosophical interest but of almost existential urgency.
Enter the philosopher Aaron James, author of the foundational text in the burgeoning field of Asshole Studies: the bestselling Assholes: A Theory. In this brisk and trenchant inquiry into the phenomenon that is Donald Trump, James places the man firmly in the typology of the asshole (takes every advantage, entrenched sense of entitlement, immune to criticism); considers whether, in the Hobbesian world we seem to inhabit, he might not somehow be a force for good—i.e., the Stronger Asshole; and offers a suggestion for how the bonds of our social contract, spectacularly broken by Trump’s (and Ted Cruz’s) disdain for democratic civility, might in time be repaired.
You will never think about Donald Trump the same way after reading this book. And, like it or not, think about him we must.

Jeesh, so many asshole mentions. Thought I was reading an RF sex post.
Given recent events, you had better get used to it.

Since my fantasies of (i) a deadlocked GOP convention that would produce a nominee like Kasich or even Romney, and (ii) a Hillary indictment, seemed doomed to remain only fantasies, I’m adding a third, with an even lower likelihood of coming to fruition. The fantasy arose from Joe Klein’s recent column in Time. Klein, you may recall, is a liberal columnist who wrote Primary Colors, a thinly veiled rip on the first Clinton campaign. Anyway, he suggests Nikki Haley, the GOP governor of South Carolina, for Hillary’s running mate. In my fantasy (and yes, I’m aware of the ick factor of any fantasy involving Hillary), the two women get together and agree on major points (the ideological gap between them really isn’t huge, I believe), and present a theme of compromise, not demagogic divisiveness. My youthful fantasies of Raquel Welch were more fun, with a similar probability. Still, such a move by Hillary would make me actually want to vote for her.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
