That must be why he's doing so poorly in the polls.

I didn't vote against Kasich. Unfortunately, most people I've talked to about the election don't know who he is or that he's running.

These states are all very similar to the type of states (conservative, western/midwestern) where Cruz has usually hammered Trump in. Cruz will also most likely take some delegates in CA because they do it by congressional district where he will focus on the ones he can win. It's going to be a contested convention.

                http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...ate_count.html

Um, I just did the math, and that is not correct. According to RCPs counts, winning those states would get Cruz to 666 delegates. If Trump won every single remaining delegate other than those you mention, he'd be at 1363. 126 more than he needs. So someone needs to peel off 127 of the 620 delegates in the states remaining other than SD, IN, NE, and MT to prevent Trum8p from winning on the first ballot. Trump has to win 65% of the remaining delegates to win on the first ballot.

Oregon (28 delegates) is proportional, and in New Mexico (24), any candidate with at least 15% gets delegates. Washington (44) and New York (172) gives all delegates in a congressional district to a candidate with over 50% of the votes, otherwise, any candidate with at least 20% of the vote gets at least 1 of the 3 delegates from that district. Rhode Island (19) is similar, except 67% of the votes is needed to get all three. All the other states are some form of winner take all, except West Virginia, where the delegates are on the ballot and are directly elected. That totals 287 delegates that are being decided more or less proportionally, and 127 is 44% of these delegates. And, as you note, Cruz can probably win at least a handful of CA districts. It is looking like a good chance of having a brokered convention, but it definitely isn't a done deal.

666?? So we can choose Trump or the Anti-Christ?

                    • Hillary promises the truth (for once)...

Clinton campaign chairman: Americans 'can handle the truth' about UFOs

John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, says it’s time for the U.S. government to release any evidence it has about the existence of alien forms of life in outer space.

Podesta, who was also a chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, told CNN that if Hillary Clinton is elected, she’ll ask for as many records about Area 51 in Nevada as the U.S. government has to be declassified.

“I think that's a commitment that she intends to keep and that I intend to hold her to," Podesta told CNN.

Area 51 is a remote Air Force test and training range that’s been the subject of conspiracy theories, including UFO sightings.

"The U.S. government could do a much better job in answering the quite legitimate questions that people have about what's going on with unidentified aerial phenomena," said Podesta.

Asked if the government is holding proof of alien life, Podesta said: “That’s for the public to judge once they’ve seen all the evidence that the U.S. government has.”

Asked about his own beliefs, Podesta simply said: “There are a lot of planets out there,” adding “the American people can handle the truth.”
                      http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...-ufo/82787832/

Or it could be yet another broken promise and Clinton's campaign chairman is just throwing this crap out there to get votes from a lot of folks that believe in UFOs. Just who is this John Pedesta dude anyway?
