Rubio is vacating his Senate seat. He'd have to find some other perch to get the necessary experience. It's unlikely that he would accept being a Rep., which really only leaves governor. Rick Scott is in office until 2019 in Florida. Maybe he lands there but I doubt it. A loss here might just be the end of the line for Marco. Best guess is that he lands as a well-compensated Washington lawyer and finishes his days out there. Maybe he takes a shot at governor of Florida later.
