To a lot of us it is. You can't really argue that it is not a business supporting discrimination, can you? It just takes a different form, but the objective is the same. The argument is that the discrimination is appropriate.

You can work for us as long as you know your place. Woolworth's had black customers, they just couldn't sit at the whites only counter. I'm sure the owners were similar to the CFA CEO in that they felt like they were being fair to the black/gay folks. They're allowing them to do all sorts of things just like everyone else, they're just standing up for tradition and the natural order of things when it comes to certain things. It's in the bible, for goodness sake!!! This is a lot more similar than some people would like to admit.

Why do people continue to argue with gay marriage opponents? It is fairly obvious that it is a dying political position because it basically makes no sense and relies on specious reasoning. Indy Coug will be an elderly man denying to his grandchildren that he ever opposed equal rights for gays on the basis of biblical ideology. It will be impossible to find any member of the Church that ever felt opposition to gay marriage, much like it is virtually impossible today to find an older LDS person that admits to not wanting blacks to receive the priesthood.
