Worrying about the "elite" is just another form of envy for those who can never themselves be elite

Again, you can follow the teachings of your religion or those of another entity (i.e. modern fake democratic governments) but no matter what you will be limiting your choices. Sorry, that is just life. Personally, I trust the teachings of the leaders of the LDS faith to have the best interests of humanity at heart rather than narcissistic self-serving politicians or media conglomerates (oligopolies) who see people as a means to extract profit).
You completely avoided my question, but Alex Jones is only in it for the money. Don't be fooled.

There is very little to see here.

It's the equivalent of a large org playing by 'Chatham House rules' of confidentiality in its discussions and deliberations. But there's no way that there are anywhere near enough of the world's decision makers who participate in these things for them to actually control outcomes. Influence them? Sure. But not control them. No chance.

Hah just watched it - great that she kicks off by mis-identifying the year that it started - she says 1945, it was 1954.

          And she can barely read.

If ruling the world doesn't work out for the Bilderbergers, I think a good fallback plan would be to open a chain of fast food restaurants.

The only thing I find interesting about the Bilderbergs is that 10 or 20 years ago, anybody who suggested such a group existed and met was labelled a nut job. Just for suggesting the existence.

Fast forward to today...even the Bilderbergs are admitting that they exist.

Assassin's Creed was a middle-of-the-road video game in my opinion, but it helped guide my world view. You see, this game (and it's overarching franchise) depicts an epic struggle between the Templars and the Assassin's Creed. The Templars are a monsatic military organization intent on establishing the "perfect world"; using force and control to dominate over free will. They hide in plain sight and have been the sinister puppet masters of society for millenia. The Assassin's Creed are an order committed to defeating the Templars, and preserving individual freedoms and the right to choose. they are sometimes required to go to questionable lengths to attain their goals.

I believe there is much you can learn from the Creed. Members of the Creed accept The Three Ironies, which are:

                      1. The Assassins seek to promote peace, but commit murder.
                      2. The Assassins seek to open the minds of men, but require obedience to rules.
                      3. The Assassins seek to reveal the danger of blind faith, yet practice it themselves.

These ironies speak to the individual compromises that noble men must make, and the hypocrisy they must inherently demonstrate, in order to ultimately conquer those forces that would consolidate power and enslave society.

Moreover, I would draw your attention to the Creed's maxim, which is: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted".

Ezio Auditore, the protagonist in Assassin's Creed 2, AC Brotherhood, and AC Revelations, offered this explanation of the meaning of the creed:
"To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic"
I trust this information has been beneficial to you in your own individual quest to overthrow the Templars. I look forward to the day when you and I may embrace in the bonds of Assassin's Creed brotherhood. Remember: Nothing is true, everything is permitted. Once you have this realization, the fight against evil takes on a new dynamic unfettered by the mypoic and whimsical moral standards of our day, or any day.

Others even speculated that Rand Paul was threatened or bribed into supporting Romney, by the Bilderberg group, suggesting that it wasn't a coincidence that his endorsement came after their conference.
Classic, classic stuff. No coincidence that Bilderberg conspiracists correlate quite consistently to RP supporters.

Actually, the context of your question I interpreted as suggesting that I was some sort of storm trooper for Alex Jones. I happened to run across him when someone sent me the Obama Deception video and I thought he was some sort of ego-maniac who should not have been given so much time in an otherwise very well researched documentary. It was some time later that I discovered he was the one who made it.

What is my opinion of Jones? I don't like his delivery style. However, having researched a lot of issues such as the population control movement, what I would call eco-religion, behavioral control programs and even esoteric topics that are far too dark/occultic for the typical LDS person to examine I will have to grudgingly admit that Jones does his homework and it is either him, or his research staff, that has uncovered a great deal of information that I have also run across over the years. In fact, having a strong interest in trans-humanism and bio-technology I have found his presentations quite insightful, although I get a bit irritated at his idea that all eugenics is bad.

So would one find more truth watching ABC, CBS, CNN or NBC or watching the documentaries Jones has produced? I would have to say that network TV is lacking in any substance anymore and is just a form of info-tainment aimed at getting an audience so that audience will buy products. It is no wonder that Europeans think Americans are dumb and gullible (Arabs and Iranians often think the same way of the US but they blame other factors). To be honest I think people like Jones challenge the dominant paradigm mostly because they do present a lot of valuable information. And that is not my idea because I am immersed in some sort of ideological doctrine -- after all I find the best news publication out of Britain is the Guardian which is quite left-of-center. Gotta say the internet is a fantastic means of getting news that one would not normally receive prior to its inception.
