  • Child abuse on the Time cover?

Poor kid. This will lead to more bullying for him than if he were an effeminate, long-haired, bleached, smoker at Mitt Romney's prep school

Don't want to overact, but this doesn't seem to be anything less than child porn.

I'm reserving judgment until I hear Goatnapper's measured response.

I can't define it, but I know it when I see it.

Because the Time cover-girl does not appear to have been surgically enhanced, I'm predicting Goatnapper won't approve.

I haven't read the article, but I would think this has more to do about the mother not be able to detach herself emotionally from the kid, than the other way around.

P.S. Stating the obvious here, but the mother is very attractive and the kid looks older than 3.

Looks about the same age as my 5 yo, maybe a little older.

I would give anything to be that kid, only I would avoid the milk part of it.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                    'Sup?
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.
