Interesting how Tex is always so popular among the apostates (SU has always loved him). I am sure it is nice to have someone like that to point to for affirmation.

The apostates all love you as well, Jeff. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Not affirmation really. It is true that I don't like Tex's position at all. I do know many active members here and elsewhere that disagree strongly with Tex's feelings on the matter. However, I am not sure CUF represents the majority of Mormon sentiment and I think Tex's and to a small degree Jacob's arguments need a voice here. That is all I am saying, and I am sure you agree.

Having them post their thoughts allows their message to continue to get vetted which IMHO is a good thing. I personally believe, that the more this issue is publicly discussed, the more foolish the anti-gay marriage argument appears. I don't think Tex or Jacob will ever be convinced, but there are people who read these type of discussions who might be influenced. Honestly, I don't feel the need to convince Tex that he is wrong with respect to this topic anymore, besides we are both probably beyond convincing at this point.
